SKPD Asked to Ensure Asian Games Venues Preparation

City Council Commission E wants related SKPDs to ensure condition of road access, toilet, and other facilities in Asian Games 2018 venues.

"Do not let it difficult to access venue's entrance and parking space is still not ready to accommodate athletes' vehicles," said Syahrial, Chairman of Commission E, Thursday (10/19).

Commission E Wants Sport Facilities to Be Added

According to him, Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. (Dispora) must be able to repair access into Asian Games venue through coordination with Bina Marga Dept.

He also wants Dispora to coordinate with Jakarta Environment Dept. (DLH) to ensure toilet cleanliness in each Asian Games 2018 venues.

"It has to be admitted that our sport venues (GORs) has weakness in its toilets," he added.

He also wants DLH to do septic tank suction in each Asian Games venues. Including to replace all toilet sanitation tools.

Responding to this, Jakarta Dispora Head, Ratiyono ensures toilet cleanliness is prioritized in 10 GORs renovation which later will be used as Asian Games 2018 athletes training ground.

"I has asked all GORs Operational Unit Heads to check all toilets," he closed.
